In the countryside near Torre Vado, close to the crystalline sea and the golden beaches of Pescoluse, there is this estate of 20 thousand square meters, whose core, an ancient rural village, dates back to the seventeenth century and has been expertly restored as close as possible to the original structure.
The estate is offered exclusively for you, with all internal and external spaces, including the huge garden and swimming pool, for your private use and not shared with anyone else. It can accommodate up to 21 people and is divided into nine units with an independent entrance each, some communicating with each other, ideal for a group of friends or families (see below for a detailed description of the units). Each unit has a covered outdoor terrace, ideal for outdoor dining.
The large garden, with olive trees, pines, fruit trees and Mediterranean plants, culminates in the splendid swimming pool of recent construction, which measures approximately 8x5 meters and has 4 geysir points for hydromassage. It is surrounded by a terrace and relaxation areas both in the sun and in the shade, with a nice sea view. Additionally, there is a large barbecue (wood or charcoal).
The property is equipped with free wifi in the interior spaces, a TV in some of the units and a washing machine at your disposal.
Description of units
Unit A: studio apartment with bathroom.
Unit B: beautiful two-room apartment with one bedroom (double bed and additional single bed) obtained in the historic trullo and a built-in kitchen, a bathroom (units A and B can be joined together with a communicating door)
Unit C: two-room apartment with two bedrooms, a bathroom and kitchenette.
Units D to I (six in total): studios with one bathroom and kitchenette each, ideal for couples. The units are communicating two by two (D-E, F-G, H-I), creating - if desired - two-room apartments for up to four people each (ideal for families).
About 1.5 km from the estate is the village of Morciano di Leuca, with the excellent bakery Schirinzi, known throughout the area, a small supermarket and other shops. The beaches of Torre Vado are about 2.5 km away, the long and sandy beaches of Pescoluse (including the famous Maldives of Salento) about 4 km. In the surroundings there are also numerous excellent restaurants offering a large variety of tastes, from fish and seafood to traditional pasta and pizza.
The property is located in an ideal position to visit Leuca and its sea caves, Gallipoli, Otranto, Galatina, Lecce and the numerous other cultural and artistic gems of Salento.
🛏️ Sheets, duvets and towels are not included. If you don't want to bring them with you from home, regardless of the length of your stay, you can rent them for €20 per person. Beach/pool towels are not provided.
🧽 Final cleaning is not included and costs €240, unless you clean yourselves before departure.
🐶 Dogs and pets are allowed (max 2 dogs or pets, surcharge €60 per dog/pet). You will need to inform us in advance.
💰 We will ask you to pay a security deposit of €1600 before arrival. The security deposit will be refunded within 7 days after departure, if there is no damage.
⚡ Electricity costs (and thus where applicable AC, hot water, heating etc.) are NOT included in the price and will be charged based on your actual consumption. The price per kWh charged to guests was €0,34 on 30/08/2023, when this text was last updated, but as prices are fluctuating a lot, your actual price per kWh will be communicated a few days before your arrival based on the current market price.
We decided not to include electricity costs in the rent in order to: a) keep our rental prices stable despite inflation and b) incentivate our guests to use electricity responsibly, helping us to reach our sustainability goals. Thank you for your understanding.
